10 Surprising Things You Can Do On A Cruise Ship

If you're an experienced cruiser, maybe you'll be familiar with some of these. If you've yet to board your first ship (we can help change that!), you might be surprised.

1. An Apple Store

Buy Apple products, check emails and print boarding passes, and schedule classes with Apple Geniuses in Celebrity Cruises' iLounge.

2. Stargaze In An Observation Tower

The Northstar Observation Tower will give guests a bird's eye view 30 stories above the ocean. The 135 foot crane arm will lift an all glass capsule off the top deck of Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas

3. Skydiving, Indoors.

Also on Quantum of the Seas, indoor skydiving will take place in a 23-foot vertical wind tunnel powered by four giant fans. Also onboard are a climbing wall, a surfing simulator, ice rink, and bumper cars.

4. Celebrity Chefs

Four of Celebrity Cruises sailings this year will feature contestants from the hit TV show, "Top Chef." Watch cooking demonstrations, competitions, and enjoy samples all while on board.

5. Bowling

Norwegian Cruise Line's Gem, Epic, and Pearl have their own bowling alleys. A guaranteed good time, even if the balls don't always roll straight.
